A hardware wallet provides the highest level of security by storing your private keys on a physical device that's never connected to the internet. While our software wallets are highly secure, we recommend hardware wallets for storing large amounts of crypto or for long-term holdings.
During setup, you'll create a recovery phrase (also called a seed phrase) - a series of 12-24 words. If you lose your device, you can use this recovery phrase to restore your wallet and access your funds on a new device. Always store your recovery phrase in a safe place and never share it with anyone.
SecureWallet is free to download and use. However, blockchain networks charge transaction fees (gas fees) when you send crypto. These fees go to the network validators, not to us. We always show you the exact fee before you confirm any transaction.
